Here’s the history behind the Ultimate Seafood Junkies….oh by the way, we’re Canadian, eh?

The crabby looking Seafood Junkie on the left is no other than Tracy Hnatiuk. A self proclaimed Esquire with over 20 years experience in the retail seafood industry and 10 years experience in the restaurant business. His roots stem from the ice cold prairies of Alberta where he grew up trying to stay warm. That must be why he wanted to work in the kitchens all those years! He made his way out to beautiful British Columbia working for a retail seafood supermarket as they were expanding out west. But now that he “knows everything”, he wants to share his wealth of knowledge of fresh fish and seafood with all who will listen. Oh by the way, he really likes to talk…
